The old South Cushing Baptist Church, on Salt Pond Road, was built in 1854 and given to the Society in 1977 by the last remaining church members, with the stipulation that the building never be modernized (no electricity or water), be kept in good repair, and that at least one Worship Service be held each year.
This country church serves our community. Summer weddings, concerts, play-readings, and memorial services have been held here.
